ISKCON Temple Vrindavan History
Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada constructed the ISKCON mandir in Vrindavan in 1975 AD with marble. After the Sri Krishna Balarama Temple was built, Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada passed away, and his statue was added to the temple’s grounds. This Vrindavan temple’s interior and exterior carvings were done in such a way that the viewer is constantly drawn to them.
There is a religious story behind the location of this temple. Shri Krishna and Balram used to play here with the Gopis, and they used to graze the cows here. This place is said to be associated with Shri Krishna and Balram’s childhood.

My Experience at ISKCON Temple Vrindavan
ISKCON Temples are huge; I knew that, but coming here was a totally different experience. Sri Sri Krishna Balram Temple is very beautiful and spacious. Once I entered the main gate of the temple, there was a huge hall area. Even outside the temple, there is a lot of space around. The darshan was also smooth. The idols of Shri Krishna and Shri Balram are mesmerising and we are drawn towards them. Overall this was a memorable experience for me.
